Living in God’s Grace

His Grace is sufficient for me…. that was something I always heard and would even find myself repeat back to someone else who needed to hear it. And we would both nod our heads and say AMEN and just believe that God’s Grace will get us through whatever we needed to get through. We never questioned it. We never thought twice about what it meant. At least… I didn’t. I just read it  —

And He said to me, My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV)

But what does that really mean? When we are going through some really hard times in life… when we receive some of the worst news in our life… when we don’t see just how we are going to go on with life… what does it mean to have grace?? Sufficient grace…

I did a lot of reading and researching about this… I am a researcher. I like having answers. I BELIEVE with everything in me, His Word. But I like understanding what I am reading. I have come to know who the Lord is more and more by learning to understand His word.

God’s Grace…. is our covering. No matter what you are going through, whether you see Him, hear Him or feel Him… His Grace is covering you.

In Psalm 91… one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE chapters in the entire Bible!! Read the whole chapter folks!! It’s beautiful!!

He shall cover you with His feathers,

And under His wings you shall take refuge;

His truth shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4 NKJV)

God’s got you. His feathers are soft and warm and comforting. His wings will envelope you and hold you. His truth… that is how He fights for you. His word. His Promise. He will never leave you. His strength is made perfect in (your) weakness…..

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will never leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed – Deuteronomy 31:8 NKLV

THAT is God’s Grace.

THAT is being covered.

Jesus already overcame the world!!! There isn’t anything He can NOT do. So whatever you are going through… HE will help you get through it. With His Grace… trust in Him. Know that whatever you are going through or dealing with doesn’t come close to the Glory of God. Have hope. And keep believing that His Grace is sufficient. That His strength is perfect enough for your weakness!!

But by the Grace of God I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me  -1 Corinthians 15:10 NKJV

God is with you… His Grace is Sufficient

Blessings
