I am really really new at the social media thing. I know that right now social media is HUGE. It is a big deal. And I know that I have to learn the INS and OUTS of using it properly. To be honest, for a girl that has some social anxiety, online social media is perfect for me. lol. Lately I have been saying, I don’t do people, because I don’t. It is so hard for me to get out of my routine of home-hospital-home-hospital.

I am constantly looking for ways to raise funds for Made For A Miracle. I am constantly asking people to donate items for care packages or gas cards. And I am so so so so grateful for all of our donors and sponsors. In the year we have been up and running we have been supply over 200 care packages for families in our local NICU’s. We have supplied families with over $400 worth of gas cards and meal cards. And we were even blessed to have been able to purchase a blood pressure machine for a sweet sweet little boy in Ontario whose insurance wouldn’t cover some of his necessary equipment needed to be discharged from the NICU. It has been an amazing year.

The next thing I want to do is collaborate with other companies and brands to help more NICU families. Right now we are in the process of collaborating with this beautiful (inside and out) lovely lady that makes personalized hand-stamped jewelry. She is going to make hand-stamped jewelry that says Made For A Miracle for our NICU mamas and friends to purchase. All proceeds will go to purchasing all the items we need to help NICU families. And I couldn’t be happier. I am so excited for this collaboration!! Not only are her pieces of jewelry personalized but they are beautiful with such great quality. Each piece she makes is personally hand-stamped by her. I am so excited for what she is going to make for us to help raise funds. I am so grateful.

I am hoping this post reaches more than a few of you. We are ALWAYS looking for ways to support NICU families. Whether it be collaborating with other preemie and NICU organizations or other retail companies.

I am going to let you in on a secret though… I hope someone sees this and wants to donate some of their merchandise for our NICU families. That is my wish tonight.
