Made For A Miracle

I just created a non-profit organization. I finally did it. I filled out the paperwork and sent them off to the State Board people. The name so far has been approved and is now officially reserved. Now just waiting for my certificate. Our non-profit organization is called Made For A Miracle. Here is our company overview

“To provide support and assistance to families who are expecting or who have critically-ill newborns or children, either currently in the NICU or at home. We want to be of support in any way we can.”

And I have FINALLY created the website.

I am really excited to start spending some time on this project. I am a little nervous because I don’t quite know how to ask for help. I don’t want to go public with it to my friends just yet. I kind of feel like… our family is still right smack in the middle of our journey… how the heck am I going to help other people??? And, the answer is… I have no idea.

But I feel like this… if I can be a phone call of support for someone right now… I would be GLAD to do it. If I can meet someone at the hospital just be a support person, I would be glad to do it. If I can text someone that has questions for me and wonders what to expect, then I will. If someone just needs a daily pick me up… I can do that. I just want to help…

I know right now we are going to have to come up with some ideas to fundraise for OUR SON. He is going to need a new kidney about this time next year. As excited as I am for this new organization to get started, I am really going to have to slow myself down and work for my son first.

I just wish I can fast forward time. I feel like we are in slow motion. Maybe I can go slow with this organization and just be some sort of hotline or support group … then years from now maybe we can start being able to help families financially… I will definitely be praying on this.

If you know how to even run a nonprofit or have some tips.. please let me know. I am really just going in full force after studying the topic for months.. lol.

I just want to help. I humbly ask for prayers and direction and advice.
